A collaboration with the Italian kitchen company Very Simple Kitchen brings a communal kitchen at the center of the space focusing on the humanist value of design and the inclusive experience of eating together.
Very Simple Kitchen is an Italian brand that creates functional solutions for contemporary lifestyles, introducing a simple and innovative approach based on freestanding modules. The result of the collaboration is a playful and surprising kitchen island with rounded corners and a Carrara marble top. The modules are canvases and Kiki & Joost expressive and colorful paint intervention transforms the kitchen into a work of art and a unique piece. To complete the setting a lighting installation is designed repurposing the kitchen door handles to frame the space.
