Two new collections; alike but completely different\u2026<\/h2>\n

In 2010, Joost scratched away typical \u2018Delft Blue glazed drawing\u2019 in the development of his Poor Man\u2019s Gold project for the Zuiderzee museum. This process resulted in the outcome of a new pattern, which he entitled Scratch, and which was used first on ceramic plates for the museum commission.<\/h2>\n

Now Joost further developed the scratching idea and during the DDW he shows two collections with the Scratch pattern. One is a collection of high quality table linen woven by the Dutch Textile Museum. The other is an auto produced collection of archetypical furniture on which the pattern is applied through a process in which the lacquer of the furniture is scratched away.<\/h2>\n
