For Joost the process of making and discovering the right construction dictates its design. It is revealed whenever he puts materials together with screws or glue, or tear pieces of cardboard to create a shape. Sketched Collage designed for the Handwriting collection uses sculptural shapes and strong lines to create a pattern of irregular geometrical shapes. The carpet holds a sculptural element and showcases all the physicality of Joost’s design.
