The studio produced a massive modular installation in Douglas wood, that despite the scale is conceived to be reused and reshaped every year, adding a warm vibe to the 4000 m2 arena.
Studio Kiki&Joost also designed the food courts and two raised terraces with large rows of trees making an impressive central avenue. From the terrace there are graphic and bold arc lamps hanging, produced in house, while the central stage benefits from a more expressive architecture. After the invitation to design a large art installation for Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, the North Sea Jazz festival gave them again the chance to connect the dots between design and architecture, with music in the background.
