Doppia Firma (Double Signature) is a dialogue between designers and master artisans. During the visit to Berta Battiloro, a historic gold leaf laboratory in Venice, Kiki observed that gold has the same potential of sunlight: it awakens ancient powers and evokes symbolic myths. Following this analogy, she rebuilt the Berta Battiloro window in her studio and watched how the sunlight touches portions of an object leaving others in shade. She translated the play of light through the gold leaf onto a still life of four objects, a bowl, vase, candleholder and book.
