Commissioned by Cor Unum ceramics to celebrate the “De Stijl’s” 100th anniversary, this project has been inspired by the open-mindedness of world-renowned artist and Dutch Icon Piet Mondrian. The ceramic frame of the vase is intentionally designed to persuade the viewer to consider that “it’s all and just about how you look at things” by drawing focus to interesting views. Inspiration for the title of this work comes from the Cuby & the Blizzards hit song of the same title.
