Opening Spazio Nobile Gallery in 2016 in Brussels, Lise Coirier and Gian Giuseppe Simeone, both art historians, joined their passions for contemporary creation, initiating a scholarly dialogue between applied arts, design and photography. Without weaving boundaries between disciplines, the visual arts interact with the fine arts. They have initiated a collection of one-of-a-kind pieces, limited editions and art installations, with a particular sensitivity to everything related to nature and minerality.

For this 23rd edition of the PAD, Spazio Nobile presents a collective exhibition entitled Contemplative Tactilities, featuring an emblematic selection of the gallery’s creators: François Azambourg, Isabelle de Borchgrave, Jesper Eriksson, Ernst Gamperl, Éva Garcia, Garnier & Linker, Kaspar Hamacher, Sebastian Herkner, Pao Hui Kao, Katherine Huskie, Jin Kuramoto, Päivi Rintaniemi, Kustaa Saksi, Bela Silva, Piet Stockmans, Ann Beate Tempelhaug, Adi Toch, Fabian von Spreckelsen, Kiki van Eijk, Vera Vermeersch, Philipp Weber.

Through this presentation, the gallery lifts the veil on a sensitive and universal vocabulary that is rooted in our shared imagination. The materials, although raw and derived from earthly resources, are here worked with delicacy and sensitivity in a direct and tactile relationship to the body and mind.
