Co-EVOLUTION

Kiki van Eijk and Joost van Bleiswijk

The book contains a chronological description and imagination of the twelve-year oeuvre of the two leading designers Kiki van Eijk and Joost van Bleiswijk. It examines their different design methodologies and artistic principles that have clearly developed over the years, unconsciously influenced by one another.
The personal approach offers the reader a glimpse inside the design world of Kiki and Joost. A world with love for concept development, research, crafts and developing innovative technologies.

The book is designed by AB/C Anthon Beeke Collective, Mariola López Mariño, in collaboration with Lidewij Edelkoort.

The book is published by Lecturis, for the occasion of the overview exhibition ”co-evolution” of Joost and Kiki at Het Noordbrabants Museum the Netherlands, 25 May – 18 August 2013.

The exhibition and the book highlight the first 12 years of the careers of Joost van Bleiswijk and Kiki van Eijk with wonderful images of their work, but also personal narratives and inspirations.
